Alternative Process
Cyanotype Prints and Hand Colored Film, 2023
An exploration into alternative forms of film processing.
Cyanotypes were printed on 8” x 10” cold press paper and soaked in green tea, coffee and soda ash for different toning affects. Hand painted prints were tinted using Q-tips and toothpicks. All original photography.

Never Nowhere

Never Nowhere sought to explore the beauty and difference between the the material goods that make up our modern reality, and contrast them against the natural world which we grown to consider ourselves separate from. In a categorized world, we are always somewhere but never nowhere.
This project was shot on Nevada’s Black Rock Playa, using only items that were found for free on local marketplaces.
